Screening for Plagiarism Policy
AL-AFKAR: Journal of Islamic Education Management is committed to maintaining academic integrity and upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening before entering the peer-review process.
Plagiarism screening is conducted using similarity detection software to identify potential plagiarism, duplicate publication, manuscript duplication, or the use of sources without proper citation.
Authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts are original works and that all sources used are properly acknowledged and cited. Any form of plagiarism, including direct plagiarism, partial plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, and data falsification, is considered unacceptable.
The editorial team reserves the right to reject manuscripts that contain evidence of plagiarism or to request revisions before further processing. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal may take appropriate actions in accordance with publication ethics guidelines, including issuing corrections or retracting the article.
To maintain publication quality, the acceptable similarity index is determined according to the journal's editorial policy. However, editorial decisions are not based solely on the similarity percentage; the context, source of similarity, and overall substance of the manuscript are also carefully evaluated.
