Abstract

Organizational planning is one of the essential management functions that plays a significant role in determining the direction and success of educational organizations. The quality of planning is influenced not only by technical aspects but also by leadership effectiveness and psychological factors within the organization. This study aims to examine the concept of educational leadership, the role of management psychology in educational organizations, and strategies for improving organizational planning quality based on management psychology. This research employs a library research method by collecting data from various scientific sources, including books, journals, and other relevant academic publications. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through the processes of identifying, classifying, and interpreting information obtained from the literature. The findings indicate that educational leadership plays a crucial role in directing and managing organizational resources to achieve established goals. Management psychology contributes to understanding psychological factors such as perception, motivation, emotions, and group dynamics that influence the organizational planning process. Furthermore, the quality of organizational planning can be improved through strategies such as enhancing organizational members’ motivation, developing effective communication, managing emotions and conflicts constructively, and strengthening teamwork and group participation. Therefore, the integration of educational leadership and management psychology can support the creation of more effective and high-quality organizational planning.
