Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

            The purpose of the reseach to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance at hotels in Indragiri Hilir regency. Data analysis using simple linear regression equation. Inthe instrument research, it can be concluded that all research instruments are said to be valid, reliability test results declared reliable because the calculation results have a reliable coefficient obtained α> 0.06. Further data collected were analyzed by descriptive technique and simple regression statistic. Based on the results of analysis known that partially on employee performance. It can be known from compensation value (X) has t count 2,696> ttabel2.012 and with significant equal to 0.010 <0.05. This is implies that there is an effect of compensation on employee performance on hotels located in Indragiri Hilir Regency, where the performance of an employee will increase with the motivation in the form of compensation given by the hotel manager.
