Abstract

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of individual characteristics, work environment on employees performance in Public Health Office of Indragiri Hilir. The total population taken in this study is the Civil Servants in the Indragiri Hilir Public Health Office with a population of 96 people.. The researcher set the total number of samples was 96. The results showed that variables of Individual characteristics had a partial effect on the performance of employees at the Indragiri Hilir Public Health Office with the value of t count greater (>) than t table (2,652> 1,984). Simultaneously the independent variables individual characteristics and work environment influence the performance of employees at the Indragiri Hilir Public Health Office with a calculated F value> F table (15,315> 3,09). From the results of the study it was also obtained that the percentage of the influence of R² (R Square) between independent (individual characteristics and work environment) on the dependent (Employee Performance) was 80,6%. While the remaining 19,4% which was influenced by other variables not included in this study.
