PENGARUH TINGKAT PERTUMBUHAN DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP STRUKTUR MODAL PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR INDUSTRI DAN KIMIA SUB SEKTOR KIMIA YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI PERIODE 2012-2016
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of the growth rate and size of the company on the capital structure of the basic industrial manufacturing companies and chemical sub-sector chemicals listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2012-2016. Variables used are independent or independent variables and dependent or dependent variables. The independent variable, namely the Growth Rate and the size of the Company, the dependent variable is the capital structure.
This research was conducted at the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the basic industrial manufacturing companies and chemical subtor chemicals. The population of this research is the Financial Statements of basic industrial manufacturing companies and chemical sub-sectors of chemicals. The type of data used is quantitative and qualitative data. In addition, the data source used is secondary data, data collection techniques, namely through the Documentation Study and Library Research (Reseach). Analysis of the data used is SPSS version 24 namely Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Test and Hypothesis Test.
From the research obtained by multiple linear regression, namely Y = 0.952 + 0.055 X1 + 0.030 X2 + e. the coefficient of determination test (R Square) obtained a value of 0.796 or 79.6%. This means 79.6% that the capital structure variable is influenced by the growth rate and size of the company while the remaining 20.4% is influenced by other variables not examined such as profitability, asset structure, leverage, tax and so forth. Partially test Growth rate, and company size affect the capital structure. Simultaneous test that the Growth Rate and Firm Size affect the Capital Structure. With Fcalculated is 62.313> Ftable 3.29. This means that the Growth Rate and Company Size variables simultaneously or jointly influence the capital structure of basic and chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016.
