PENGARUH KINERJA LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN MELALUI KINERJA KEUANGAN

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of environmental performance on firm value through financial performance as an intervening variable. The type of research used in this study is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used is secondary data. The sample in this study was the Basic and Chemical Industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016-2018 as many as 45 companies were taken by purposive sampling method. The test carried out is the classic assumption test and hypothesis test with a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the study are financial performance as an intervening variable which has a partial effect on firm value. While environmental performance has no effect on company value and environmental performance does not affect the value of the company through financial performance.
