Abstract

The purpose of the research to determine the effect of work environment on the performance of employees at the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) Indragiri Hilir regency and to know the physical and non-physical work environment on performance at the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) Indragiri Hilir regency. Data analysis using multiple linear regression equation. The result of research by using multiple linear regression equation that is Y = 32,587 + 0,490X1 + 0,807X2, by using coefficient determination test obtained value equal to 54,8% work environment variable (physical work environment and non working physical environment) to performance. The remaining 45.2% is influenced by other variables not included in the study. The partial test that the physical work environment variables have t count value of 6.142> t table that is 2.017, the non-physical work environment variables have a t value of 3.648> t table 2.017. Test simultaneously that the working environment has a value of F arithmetic 24.279> F table 3.21.
