Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of motivation on the performance of Daily Worker Officer clearance on the Department of Hygiene, Parks and Cemeteries Indragiri Hilir District. Variable in this research consist of independent variable that is motivation and dependent variable is performance. The result of research use simple linear regression equation that is Y = 7,333 + 0,666X. It is stated that the motivation has a positive effect on the performance of daily personnel off the net cleaner on the Department of Hygiene, Gardening and Funeral of Indragiri Hilir Regency. From the correlation test between the motivation to the daily personnel performance is 0.877, meaning that the relationship between the variables is very strong and the direction where the number is located at the number 0.75 - 1, where the number explains that the correlation is very strong and unidirectional. Test coefficient of determination obtained coefficient value of determination or R2 is equal to 0.769 this means 76.9% variable performance is influenced by motivation variable. The remaining 23.1% is influenced by other variables that are not synchronized in this research variable or influenced by other variables that are not meticulously.
