PENGARUH JENJANG PENDIDIKAN TERHADAP PROMOSI JABATAN PADA DINAS PEKERJAAN UMUM KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HILIR

Abstract

The purpose the reseach is to determine the effect of education level on promotion positions on the Public Works Department of Indragiri Hilir Regency, and to determine the factors that affect the level of education and promotion of the position of Civil Servants at the Public Works Office of Indragiri Hilir Regency. Data analysis using Simple linear regression equation. The results of research on the effect of education level on promotion positions obtained simple linear rergresi equation Y = 14.915 + 0.621X. Based on the results of partial analysis (t test) obtained t count value of 7.633> t table 2,006. This is shows that there is partial influence of education level variables to promotion positions. Test simultaneously obtained significant value of 0.000. This it can be compared that the significant value in the above table (0.000a) <0.05 and the value of F arithmetic sebesae 58.266> F table that is 3.172 which states the influence of education level variables on the promotion of positions at the Public Works Office Indragiri Hilir regency.
