ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN PT BANK NEGARA INDONESIA TBK DENGAN METODE EAGLES (EARNING ABILITY, ASSET QUALITY, GROWTH, LIQUIDITY, EQUITY, DAN STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT) PERIODE 2019-2023

Abstract

This study analyzes the financial performance of PT Bank BNI Tbk for the period 2019-2023 using the EAGLES method (Earning Ability, Assets Quality, Growth Rate, Liquidity, Equity, and Strategic Management). The population of the study consists of Bank BNI's financial statements, utilizing a saturated sampling technique and quantitative data sourced from secondary data. The results indicate that PT Bank BNI Tbk's financial performance varies across aspects: in terms of Earning Ability, the ROA ratio shows an increase (very good), while the ROE ratio also improves (fairly good). Regarding Growth, both the DGR and LGR ratios indicate a satisfactory increase. However, in terms of Liquidity, the LDR ratio shows a decline (not good). In the Equity aspect, the CAR ratio increases (very good), while the Asset Quality aspect reveals a decline in the NPL ratio (good). Finally, the SRQ by Personalia ratio in Strategic Management also shows a decrease, which is deemed good. Overall, PT Bank BNI Tbk's financial performance presents mixed results, with some aspects categorized as good and others as less favorable.
