Abstract

This study to analyzes the effect of organizational commitment and
compensation on employee job satisfaction. The object of this research is the University
of Dharma Andalas with the aim of knowing why organizational commitment and
compensation on employee job satisfaction. The population in this study were all 37
employees of Dharma Andalas University. The data collection researchers used was a
census technique by distributing it to respondents who were at Dharma Andalas
University Padang. The method used to analyze the data in this study was quantitative
data. Data processing in this study using the help of SPSS software. The results of this
study indicate that organizational commitment and compensation have a positive and
significant effect on employee job satisfaction.
