Abstract

The goal to be achieved by the researcher is to determine the effect of career development
on employee performance at Sungai Piring Public Health Center, Indragiri Hilir Regency.
The type of data used in this study consisted of qualitative data and quantitative data. Sources of
data used in this study consisted of Primary Data and Secondary Data. The research population
was all employees of Sungai Piring Public Health Center, totaling 83 people. The sampling
technique used is the saturated sampling technique (census). Data collection techniques in this
study were carried out by means of Observation (Observation), Questionnaire (Questionnaire) and
Documentation.
The results of the conclusions of this study obtained the regression equation
Y=9.921+0.371X. Based on the calculation results, the value of t count (4.786) > t table (1.988).
The magnitude of the relationship of the independent variable to the dependent variable obtained
an R Square value of 0.364 or 36.4%, which means that the contribution of the independent
variable to the dependent variable is 36.4%. The remaining 63.6%.
