Women's involvement in family economic security has a strategic role, especially in increasing household income. The pandanus weaving skills training in Tanah Merah Sub-district aims to empower women in creating products of economic value, while preserving local culture. The methods used include socialisation, training, mentoring, and evaluation of results. The training was designed in stages, starting from the introduction of raw materials, basic weaving techniques, to the creation of valuable products such as mats, bags, serving hoods, fans, and others. In addition, participants were also equipped with knowledge on simple marketing strategies, both directly and through social media. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the participants' ability to make various pandanus woven products with good quality. Some participants have even started marketing their products independently, which has resulted in an increase in family income. In addition to the economic benefits, this activity also succeeded in reviving the forgotten tradition of pandan weaving, by combining traditional and modern designs to attract the younger generation. This activity not only contributes to the strengthening of the family economy, but also to the empowerment of women at the community level. Continued support from the government and relevant agencies such as the Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office of Indragiri Hilir Regency is needed to ensure long-term impact, such as continued mentoring, strengthening market networks, and business management training. Thus, pandan weaving training is a strategic step in improving family economic resilience while preserving local cultural heritage.
