Karena kata ini memiliki makna yang berbeda, maka banyak orang melakukan penelitian untuk memahami arti dan turunan kata tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif tematik tokoh, khususnya dengan menganalisis kitab tafsir besar Fath al-Qadīr yang ditulis oleh Imam Asy-Syaukani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata "<em>nafs</em>" memiliki 35 bentuk turunan yang berbeda. Bentuk-bentuk ini terdapat di 36 surah, terdiri dari 43 surah Makkiyah dan 20 surah Madaniyah, yang menunjukkan bahwa kata ini tetap relevan dan muncul sepanjang masa turunnya wahyu. Menariknya, ada 15 ayat yang masing-masing mengandung dua kata "<em>nafs</em>" dengan bentuk yang berbeda. Menurut penafsiran Imam Asy-Syaukani, makna dari kata "nafs" sangat luas dan bergantung pada konteks. Kata ini bisa berarti diri (QS. Ali-Imran: 61), diri manusia (QS. Al-An’am: 54), seseorang (QS. Al-An’am: 130), ruh (QS. Al-An’am: 93), dan jiwa (QS. Al-Fajr: 27). Selain itu, ia juga memaknai "<em>nafs</em>" sebagai seluruh manusia secara utuh (QS. Al-Maidah: 32), bahkan sebagai bagian dalam diri manusia yang menjadi sumber munculnya perilaku (QS. Ar-Ra’d: 11). In the Islamic perspective, the Qur'an provides an ethical and normative foundation that can be a guide in directing technological development to remain in harmony with human values and the sustainability of civilization. This research aims to analyze the relevance of Qur'anic principles, particularly maqāṣid al-syarī'ah, in formulating a human-centered digital transformation framework. The research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach based on library research, with thematic analysis of Qur'anic verses related to benefit, social justice (al-'adl), trust, and ecological responsibility. Primary data comes from Qur'anic texts and classic and contemporary tafsir, while secondary data includes current academic literature related to digital ethics and sustainability. The results show that Qur'anic values are able to provide a conceptual framework for digital transformation that prioritizes human benefits, maintains a balance between innovation and ethics, and integrates the principles of justice, mercy (al-raḥmah), and trust in technology management. The application of these values can mitigate the risk of dehumanization due to technological disruption, while strengthening social and ecological resilience in the long run. The discussion confirms that the human-centered digital transformation paradigm in the Qur'anic perspective is not only reactive to technological developments, but proactive in shaping the direction of policy, education, and innovation to be in line with the vision of sustainable humanity. The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, namely analyzing the tarbawi hadiths and the Medina Charter manuscript and then linking them to the principles of community education and the basic values </em><em>​​</em><em>of Pancasila. The results of the study indicate that the Medina Charter contains important principles such as divinity, religious freedom, unity and brotherhood, deliberation, social justice, and good neighborliness. These principles are in line with the values </em><em>​​</em><em>of Pancasila and can be used as a model for community education that emphasizes tolerance, togetherness, and respect for differences. Their foundation lies in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 168, which underscores the command to eat what is lawful and wholesome while rejecting practices that lack divine authority. This study adopts a qualitative approach through library research, examining literature related to the halal-thayyib concept, food technology developments, and MUI fatwas. The findings highlight that halal-thayyib embodies values of blessing, purity, and health. Nonetheless, rapid progress in modern food technology often creates uncertainty about a product’s halal assurance, underscoring the importance of fatwa institutions. MUI fatwas function not only as religious directives but also as safeguards for the community’s physical and spiritual well-being. Viewed as a strategic tool to achieve social justice and economic prosperity, Islamic philanthropy, consisting of zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf (ZISWAF), is utilized. This research employs qualitative methods and a literature review approach. Various academic sources, institutional reports, and the latest research findings from 2019–2025 are discussed in this study. The study shows that Muhammadiyah is a pioneer of the modern Islamic philanthropic movement that combines spiritual values </em><em>​​</em><em>with professional and productive institutional governance. Muhammadiyah strives to promote community independence through economic, educational, and social empowerment programs such as LAZISMU. Muhammadiyah uses the concepts of productive zakat and productive waqf as an innovative model to shift the paradigm of philanthropy toward profitable and sustainable actions. Muhammadiyah also serves as a clear example of an Islamic institution that is responsive to current developments thanks to the integration of religious elements, contemporary management, and the digitalization of philanthropic fund management in Indonesia. Furthermore, this study also found that there are limitations in human resource capacity and that the implementation of digital systems across all regions has not yet been implemented. Employing a qualitative research method and a literature study approach, the article concludes that Muhammadiyah's internationalization is carried out through three primary strategies. First, through track-two diplomacy and active participation in global forums such as the United Nations. Second, via the expansion of its institutions and cooperation in the fields of education and health, which builds a positive international image. Third, through the provision of concrete humanitarian aid and peace advocacy. This combination of strategies enables Muhammadiyah to promote a moderate face of Islam (Progressive Islam), respond to humanitarian crises, and act as a bridge for inter-civilizational dialogue. However, this journey onto the global stage is not without its challenges. Limitations in human resource capacity with global competencies, competition with established international organizations, and complex global political dynamics pose significant obstacles. Therefore, this article proposes several strategic recommendations, including strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing the quality of human resources, and building broader strategic networks.
