THE CONCEPT OF COMMUNITY EDUCATION IN HADITH AND ITS RELEVANCE
Abstract
This study aims to examine the concept of community education in the hadith, particularly through the Medina Charter, and its relevance to the values of Pancasila in the context of national and state life. The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, namely analyzing the tarbawi hadiths and the Medina Charter manuscript and then linking them to the principles of community education and the basic values of Pancasila. The results of the study indicate that the Medina Charter contains important principles such as divinity, religious freedom, unity and brotherhood, deliberation, social justice, and good neighborliness. These principles are in line with the values of Pancasila and can be used as a model for community education that emphasizes tolerance, togetherness, and respect for differences. Thus, the integration of religious and nationalistic values in community education is expected to produce a society that is religious, has noble morals, and upholds national unity.
