Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether perceptions and work environment influence the increase in the number of new students (LPPH UNISI case study). Collecting data in this study with the method of interviewing and distributing questionnaires. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis. The population of this study was 38 populations consisting of 8 LPPH members and 30 Amulet members. Sampling in this study is by purposive sampling. From the results of this study using one of the coefficient of determination (R²) tests obtained 67% of the perception and work environment together affect the increase in the number of new students, while the remaining 33% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. From the results of multiple linear regression test results obtained by the regression equation Y = 17,722 + 0.235 X1 + 0.305 X2 + e, based on the t test (partial) for the perception variable obtained sig value 0.358, the work environment variable 0.092> 0.05, and the value of T count X1 0.936 <from t table 2,045, perception and environment variables have positive and significant effect on increasing the number of new students. For the f test (simultaneous) obtained sig value 0.148> 0.05, it can be concluded that together the perception and work environment variables have no effect on increasing the number of stone students.
