Abstract

The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of job placement on the performance of principals of SMP Negeri Sekrupaten Indragiri Hilir, and to determine of factors affect the placement of job positions and employee performance. Data analysis using simple linear regression. The results of the research obtained simple linear rergresi equation is Y = 10,789 + 1,097X. Based on the determination coefficient test obtained value of 74.3% work performance variables influenced by the appropriateness of placement of principal positions of Junior High School State Indragiri Hilir District. The remaining 25.7% is influenced by other variables. Based on the partial test results obtained value t arithmetic for the suitability of placement of answers have t arithmetic ie 11.817 with t table 2.012. So thitung X 11.817> t table 2.012. The calculation result in simultaneous testing that the appropriateness of job placement is 139,645> F table 4.05, with significant value is smaller than probability value 0,05, or value 0.000b <0,05.
