Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Education, Placement Training on Employee Performance in the Welfare and Community Section of Indragiri Hilir Regency.

The population in this study were employees who were in the work unit of the Welfare and Community Section of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The population in this study amounted to 32 people. The sampling method used the saturated sampling method (census). Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations.

Based on the results of the study, the regression equation was obtained, namely Y = 0.746 +0.398X1 + 0.114 X2 + 0.442 X3. The significance of the effect of the education variable X1 on Y (employee performance) is obtained by the t-count value (3.575) > from the t-table value (2.048). The significance of the effect of the X2 training variable on Y (employee performance) is obtained by the t-count value (2.186) > from the t-table value (2.048). The significance of the effect of the placement variable X3 on Y (employee performance) is obtained by the t-count value (4.002) > from the t-table value (2.048). The results of the F Count test obtained a number of 55,067 which is greater than the F table value of 2.95. The correlation coefficient (R) is 0.729 that there is a strong relationship between education, training and placement on employee performance. The coefficient of determination of the number R2 (R Square) shows a number of 0.532 or (53.2%).
